MADE FOR FISHERMEN BY FISHERMEN

OUR STORY

At Panic Stations®, we know that a well-designed lure can make all the difference. Whether you're chasing a trophy fish or simply enjoying time on the water, you need gear that performs when it matters most.

That’s why we take a meticulous approach to design and production. We don’t rely on pre-made molds or off-the-shelf designs, every lure is developed from the ground up with a focus on the details that truly impact performance. From initial concept to final product, each stage is carefully refined to meet the highest standards.

But we don’t stop at design. Before reaching anglers, our lures are put through their paces in real-world conditions to ensure they stand up to the test. We push each design to its limits to guarantee durability, reliability and results. Only after passing these rigorous tests do they make their way into the hands of anglers.

At the core of Panic Stations® is a commitment to quality and performance. Built for anglers who expect the best from their gear, our lures are designed to deliver when it counts. Because at the end of the day, a lure is only as good as its performance on the water, and that’s where Panic Stations® proves itself, cast after cast.

WHO ARE WE?

Panic Stations® founder, Shane Compain, is renowned as one of Australia's best barramundi anglers, with a lifetime spent
fishing in the Northern Territory. As a competitive angler, Shane has learned firsthand what works and what doesn’t when it matters most.

With over two decades of experience in the fishing industry, both personally and professionally, he found himself frustrated by the lack of options available on the market that truly combined strength, lifelike movement and performance. Determined to create a solution, Shane embarked on a four-year journey to develop a lure that could withstand demands of tough fighting fish, like the barramundi.

Starting with nothing more than a piece of balsa wood, he hand-carved the first prototype and refined it through countless hours of testing. After years of development, the result is The Mullet – a lure born from passion, experience and a desire to provide anglers with the tools they need to succeed.
